.5mm Micro Thin Foam

Description

Our micro thin foam is a great fly tying wing material and is also perfect for tying small foam flies. This closed cell material is so thin that it is slightly translucent and floats. Each pack comes with two 4″ x 6″ sheets of 1/2 mm (.5mm) micro thin foam. Available in olive and black.

We like marking this foam with permanent markers to add color and realism to wings. You can also use an air brush such as Copic Air Brushing System with coloring patches to create permanent bug like patterns on the foam.
